How to get to Bordeaux

- By plane: the international airport of Bordeaux-Mérignac (BOD) is connected to most major European hubs. From the airport, the city center is directly accessible by the new tram line A (just outside the terminal).

- By train: the journey from Paris (Montparnasse station) to Bordeaux (St Jean station) takes a little bit more than 2h by TGV.

Accomodation

Hotels located near the Talence campus or in the vicinity of a tram line (Cité du vin, Quinconces, Grand Théâtre, Mériadeck, Gare St Jean) are more convenient to reach the conference site.

Please note that Bordeaux can be very busy in June, especially since the Wine festival starts on thursday 22nd. We strongly recommend booking accommodation well in advance.
